Chapter: 1651
“Maxwell, you're so capable. Prosperous Media Corporation is a huge company, and you acquired it just like that. Congrats!"

“Indeed, it's no small company. We could only dream of investing in something like that."

“Besides, Sonia works for the company and is a significant figure in the entertainment industry. She often breaks big stories, making her a coveted asset. Many companies are eager to recruit her."

"She's the top paparazzo at Eleymond, always on the brink of uncovering major news. Naturally, she's on the radar of many people. Maxwell, keep an eye out. You wouldn't want someone else to take her."

Maxwell, hearing the conversation about Sonia, gave a cold snort and took an aggressive bite of his steak.

The best paparazzo in Eleymond?

Maxwell was certain she would regret that ungrateful slap. Eventually, he would have her crying and pleading for forgiveness.

Ariana texted Sonia. "Did you know your company was just bought out? Your new boss appears to be quite tough to handle."

Sonia, ever nonchalant, brushed off the news. “As long as my paycheck arrives on time, I don't care who the boss is."

Ariana was feeling resigned at Sonia's casual attitude, thinking that Sonia didn't grasp the gravity of the situation.

She believed Maxwell appeared resolute in his plans to overhaul Prosperous Media Corporation.

At a loss for words, Ariana sent Sonia a string of emojis, hoping to nudge her to take things more seriously.

She was engrossed in texting Sonia when the man sitting next to her stood up and accidentally spilled red wine on her dress.

"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that. Are you okay?" the man quickly apologized, clearly startled by the accident.

"It's okay. I'll just wash it off." Ariana waved off the concern and stood up to go clean.

She intended to wash it with water, but her dress was white, making the red wine stains starkly visible. No matter how much she scrubbed, faint marks lingered on the fabric.

As Ariana pondered what to do next, she ran into Catalina.

Noticing the stains, Catalina said, "Water won't get that out. I've kept some clothes from my younger days, and many are still like new. They should fit you."

Turning to Judy, she instructed, "Judy, could you take Ariana to the third floor to change?"

Left with no other options, Ariana nodded in gratitude to Catalina and followed Judy upstairs.
