Chapter: 1654
After all, she was getting older, and her memory might not be as sharp as it used to be. It was entirely possible that the mark was merely similar, yet she couldn't shake the feeling that the birthmark was strikingly alike.

This thought only deepened Judy's confusion.

She longed to look through Rodney's photo album again, but she couldn't find a valid reason to ask. Being just a servant, it wasn't her place to approach Rodney for such a thing. If Rodney were to offer it himself, that would be a different story, but for her to ask seemed out of line.

And if her memory was inaccurate, she risked creating unnecessary misunderstandings.

Besides, the Chadwick family was keen on arranging a match between Ariana and Mitchel. Judy didn't want to let them down. What if the birthmark turned out to be different?

Yet, what if it was indeed the same? That would delay Mitchel's marriage.

Judy regretted not examining the photos more closely when she had the chance. Now, she had no good reason to revisit Rodney's photo album.

After changing, Ariana descended to the dining room for dinner with Judy.

Right after dinner, Ariana got a message from Holden.

“Where are you? I'll pick you up."

Holden had been away on a business trip for the last two days, and Ariana hadn't seen him.

Realizing he was back made Ariana eager to meet him.

"I'm at the Chadwick family's house," she responded, sending him the address.

The banquet was crowded, and Ariana scanned the room, concerned Holden might stir up trouble or be recognized. After a moment of thought, she messaged him again. "There's a big tree nearby. Park your car there. I'll meet you with Melon."

Shortly after, Holden replied with an emoji of a perplexed cat. “Do you think I'll embarrass you? Okay, I understand. I'll be your invisible guardian and watch over you silently."

Ariana couldn't help smiling in amusement when she saw Holden's message. She didn't reply.

Ariana said goodbye to Rodney and the others, then left with Melon.

But when they walked out of the gate, she saw a familiar figure coming in.

It was Mitchel. He came home late, and he looked worn out.

Melon also saw Mitchel. He greeted Mitchel happily.
