Chapter: 1686
"Morning," he said brightly.

Confusion clouded Ariana's senses. A gentle peck on her forehead from Holden left her murmuring, "What... How did I end up here?" She gestured between them, piecing together her unintended slumber.

Her yawn broke through as Holden chuckled lightly, affectionately ruffling her hair. "Time for me to change," he said.

Ariana's curiosity piqued as she watched him stride to his dressing room.

It was her first glimpse into this intimate space of his.

Stepping into the dressing room, she was met with an array of fine attire and accessories.

It struck her then that even though Holden had lost his memory, his elegance remained untouched.

Holden observed her with a genial smile as she perused his belongings.

“No need to worry. This space is all mine," he said, playfully tousling her hair once more.

He was subtly telling her that Sadie had never come in here before.

Ariana grasped the implication and slightly grimaced. She said, "I wasn't on the lookout for any signs of others."

With an amused arch of his brow, Holden prodded, “So what caught your eye?"

"These." Ariana gestured towards the array of ties and watches. “It's odd that memory loss didn't affect your taste or style."

Holden responded with nothing more than a grin, proceeding to dress.

Catching an unintended glimpse of Holden's body, Ariana felt her cheeks warm and turned to leave hastily.

But Holden swiftly blocked her path, his eyes alight with mischief.

“I'm undecided on the tie. Could you choose one for me?" he said.

Ariana agreed, selecting a tie and handing it to Holden.

But Holden remained stationary, asking her with a teasing tone, “Would you mind helping me put it on?"

Drawn in by his playful request, Ariana reached up and looped the tie around his neck, securing it in place.
