As soon as Jolie heard Mitchel's name, her expression stiffened visibly, betraying her discomfort. Jennifer, noticing the change, fought to suppress a laugh. Glancing at Jolie with a smile, she told Ariana, “Let's head over there. It's quieter, plus you can have a nice chat with Mitchel."

Without a word, Mitchel glanced at Jolie and strode past her, casually taking Ariana's bag for her as he went. He, Jennifer, and Ariana made their way to the deck.

Laughter from Jennifer soon echoed from the deck, leaving Jolie feeling a mix of embarrassment and irritation. She seethed internally.
