Chapter: 1699
Watching Holden, the other female guests were all captivated by his charm. They all wished for a chance to chat with him, but with the cameras still rolling, they had to be subtle.

After two more rounds, the show went on a short break. As soon as the cameras stopped, Ariana hurriedly left the set. Holden attempted to follow, but he got swarmed by female guests right away.

"Hey, what's your job?"

"Can I have your number?"

"Let's be friends!"

The crowd chattered around him, but Holden wasn't paying much attention. His eyes were fixed on where Ariana had vanished.

Seeing Mitchel heading that direction, Holden's anxiety surged, prompting him to respond curtly, "I run a brick factory."

Swiftly navigating through the crowd, he made his way to catch up with Ariana.

Meanwhile, the female guests, still puzzled, exchanged confused glances.

After a brief silence, they began to murmur to one another. “He's incredibly handsome; how can he run a brick factory?"

"What's the issue with running a brick factory? With his charm and poise, I'd admire him no matter what he does for a living."

"Are you all giving up? Because if you're, I'm diving right in."

"Hold on, I also don't see an issue here. Managing a brick factory could actually be quite lucrative."

Meanwhile, as Ariana reached the corridor, Holden managed to catch up with her.

“What's the hurry?" he inquired, arching an eyebrow, his demeanor appearing nonchalant yet inquisitive.

“I just need to use the bathroom," Ariana responded, avoiding his gaze, feeling hesitant to meet his eyes.

Holden scanned their surroundings. Spotting the restroom nearby, he pulled Ariana inside.

Before Ariana could react, Holden swiftly locked the door behind them.

"What are you doing?" Ariana said, stealing a glance at Holden before looking away. A twinge of guilt gnawed at her. After all, she had secretly joined this love-variety show without informing him.

As soon as she noticed Holden's unexpected appearance, she sensed trouble brewing.
