Chapter: 1728
In a subdued voice, Shawn responded, "Mitchel's in trouble. We couldn't locate him, but we caught two men in black by the sea attempting to flee. They said Mitchel was stabbed and dumped in the sea."

Holden's face darkened at the news. “How's that possible? Have you scoured the waters around thoroughly?"

Shawn replied, "We've combed those waters multiple times, but no luck. Even had a diver out there, still no sign."

After a pause, he asked, "Should we inform the Chadwick family?"

Holden thought for a while and replied, "Hold off until tomorrow. Meanwhile, ramp up the search party. Cover every inch of those nearby islands tonight. We can't afford to miss a spot."

"Understood," Shawn said, hastening to organize the expanded search.

Holden massaged his temples, a frown etched on his face.

The thought of Mitchel's disappearance troubled him deeply.

Even though they were rivals in love, Holden couldn't shake the gratitude he felt towards Mitchel for looking out for Ariana. He hoped for Mitchel's safe return.

In the Chadwick family's house.

Judy was heading upstairs with heart medication when Catalina noticed her and asked, "What's that for?"

Judy responded, "Mr. Chadwick felt some heart palpitations and discomfort during dinner. He asked me to bring him his medicine."

"I'll go check on him," Catalina said and headed upstairs.

Once there, she approached her father with concern. "Dad, are you alright? Should I call the doctor for a check-up, or do you want to head to the hospital? They have better equipment there."

"No need to worry about me," Rodney replied with a chuckle, trying to reassure her. "I just felt a bit off earlier today. It's nothing serious."

He took a sip of water, then suddenly changed the subject. “Is Mitchel still at the lab? He hasn't called me in two days. What kind of experiment could be so urgent that he can't even make a call?"

Hearing this, Catalina's expression shifted. She hesitated before saying, "Mitchel, he might be..."

Rodney turned to his daughter with a concerned look. “What has Mitchel been doing these past two days?"

Catalina hadn't told Rodney about the reality show. Now that he was asking, she felt it was wrong to keep it from him, so she confessed, "I signed Mitchel up for a love-variety show. He's probably filming right now."

Behind them, Judy's face fell. She knew the show Catalina was talking about without needing more details. A wave of anxiety washed over her.
