Chapter: 1750
Jolie scanned the document; it was a contract regarding the show, stipulating her silence on all matters related to the show, particularly Holden's identity.

The person's stern gaze bore into her, his words carrying a cold warning. "Mr. Fredrick has shown leniency this time; tread carefully in the future. Do not cross lines that should not be crossed. If there's a next time, you probably won't get a chance like this."

Hearing that, Jolie clenched her teeth, quickly wiped away her tears, and hurriedly signed the agreement.

The moment her signature was on the document, she cried again.

Overcome with emotion, she tossed the pen she had been using and exclaimed, "It's finished. Are you happy now?"

“Yes," the person replied, clearly pleased as they gathered the documents and left the room without another word.

Once the door closed, Jolie cried out loud.

She scrolled through her phone, looking at all the messages of concern from her followers. Each message deepened her sadness. She wanted to reply, to share her feelings, but she couldn't do that.

The next morning, the doorbell rang at Sadie's villa.

At that moment, Sadie was deep in a book on prenatal education, oblivious to the online gossip, while Adele, nearby, enjoyed her cake with delight.

The doorbell rang again, and Sadie reluctantly set her book aside, shooting a disapproving look at Adele, whose face was covered in cream and cake crumbs.

If it weren't for the people tied to Holden still being here, Sadie would have found a way to deal with Adele.

Even now, everything remained in a mess. To handle this annoying child, she had to wait until Zayden had full control of the Fredrick Group.

Standing up, Sadie approached the visitor monitor and spotted Devin.

She hastily cleaned Adele's face, wiping roughly with a napkin, causing the little girl's face to redden and her eyes to tear up as she whimpered, "No, mommy, please."

Sadie paused, giving Adele a stern look. “Do you still remember what we went over last night?"

Adele nodded timidly, her eyes wide with fear.

Pleased, Sadie headed for the door.

Her demeanor quickly changed upon seeing Devin. Tears sprang to her eyes as she grasped his hand, her voice filled with urgency. “Any news about Holden? He's alright, isn't he?"

Devin looked serious as he shook his head. “We haven't heard anything yet... It doesn't look good."
