Chapter: 1753
From past interactions, Sadie had always seemed eager to be a good mother and hadn't harmed Adele, though Adele wasn't particularly affectionate towards her.

Perhaps it was Sadie's mood that was influencing Adele, causing her recent clinginess.

And about the red marks on Adele's face.. Maybe he was just overthinking it.

Lost in these thoughts, Devin suddenly spotted a middle-aged woman lurking near the villa's entrance, some documents in her hands.

After a moment of contemplation, Devin exited the car and approached the woman.

"Hello, may I help you?" he inquired.

The middle-aged woman, speaking with a strong accent, responded, “I'm here to look after the child."

Due to her accent, Devin had to listen carefully a few times to grasp her words, eventually understanding that Sadie was in search of a nanny to assist with Adele.

Considering Sadie's pregnancy, managing Adele must be challenging for her.

Thinking of the red marks on Adele sparked a thought in Devin.

He said, “I'm the family's butler. Please, follow me.”

Meanwhile, after finishing her prenatal videos, Sadie glanced at Adele, still focused on her cakes. She checked the time, puzzled about why the nanny expected for an interview hadn't yet arrived.

She slightly furrowed her brow, muttering about the agency's unreliability, and considered finding a new one if they continued to disappoint.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Peering at the monitor, Sadie saw a cheerful middle-aged woman. The woman said with a smile, “Hello, I'm here for the nanny interview."

Sadie opened the door to let the woman in.

"Please, take a seat." Sadie motioned to the chair opposite her and began to review the documents the woman had handed her.

The resume indicated significant experience.

However...

Sadie looked from the photo on the resume to the smiling woman seated across from her and frowned slightly, asking, “Why don't you resemble your photo?"
