Chapter: 1764
"The question is, why did this accident happen?"
In an instant, numerous comments came out, suggesting that if the show's guests had been competing with each other, it could have led to such a significant incident.
However, the show's crew hadn't disclosed any information about the accident, leading to even more rumors online.
As soon as Mitchel returned to Eleymond, he was directly admitted to Mercy Hospital, where Ariana was. Their wards were in the same building.
Thus, the entire two floors were guarded by the members of the Fredrick and Chadwick families to stop any more untoward incidents from happening.
When Ariana heard that Mitchel had returned, she and Holden went to see him.
While looking at Mitchel lying on the bed, Ariana stepped forward with a guilty look on her face. She asked concernedly, “Are you okay? How do you feel?"
Mitchel smiled and said, "I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
But Ariana still felt so guilty that she decided to stay in the ward to take care of Mitchel.
Holden stood to the side with a stern expression, watching Ariana care for Mitchel attentively. He remained silent, his gaze fixed on her.
Holden felt a pang of unhappiness but managed to keep it under control.
After all, Mitchel had been injured because of them, and Holden knew he had no place to complain.
Now that Mitchel was safely back, everyone was relieved, although a chill occasionally emanated from Holden, filling the room with tension.
Catalina glanced at Holden and whispered, "Is he the head of the Fredrick family? The one they call the ‘brick factory boss' from those internet rumors?"
Ariana nodded in confirmation.
Catalina, unable to resist further gossip, said, "I heard he was supposedly dead?"
Ariana sighed, reflecting on the swirling rumors. “It's complicated," she admitted. “We need to keep it quiet that he's alright. We're still trying to draw out the real culprit; we haven't caught the person yet."
Catalina nodded, her expression showing she understood the gravity of the situation.
Then, she said to Ariana, "If you ever need help, just give me a call."
As she spoke, a thought struck Catalina and she grinned. "You know, if I could, I'd really like to teach a lesson to whoever is messing with you behind your back."
