Chapter: 2040
Adrian stumbled several steps back, his back colliding painfully with the wall.
In a desperate move, Ariana sank her teeth into Moss' neck while he was distracted by Adrian.
Moss let out a sharp cry of pain. Frustrated, he violently tossed Ariana aside, sending her crashing into Adrian.
Adrian and Ariana exchanged urgent whispers, agreeing to seize the moment to overpower Moss. They then launched a coordinated assault.
Initially confident that two against one would be manageable, they soon realized they had underestimated Moss' true strength, which rivaled Adrian's own.
Within moments, overwhelmed by Moss' power, Ariana and Adrian were both hurled into the air and slammed heavily to the floor.
Despite their dizziness, they struggled to rise and continue fighting.
Suddenly, mechanisms concealed in the ceiling activated, descending to ensnare them in two separate cages.
Moss seethed with anger. His intention had been to offer Ariana and Adrian solace before their demise, but he had not anticipated their ingratitude and resistance!
He swiftly retrieved a vial of purple Liquid from the box.
“Do you know what this is?" Moss introduced the substance to them, stating, "This is my latest creation. There are six doses in total. Injecting all six doses induces a hallucinatory, excruciating experience just before death."
Ariana and Adrian both trembled slightly in their cages.
The next second, Moss crouched down, casting a glance at Ariana and then at Adrian. His grin was chilling as he asked, "Who should have the honor of trying this first?"
Ariana and Adrian remained silent, but their gazes bore into Moss like daggers, their hatred palpable.
Moss was stunned for a moment.
He had grown accustomed to fear and numbness in others' eyes, and the intensity of Ariana's and Adrian's loathing and killing intent was a rare sight for him. This realization made him burst into laughter, his shoulders shaking uncontrollably. It took him a while to compose himself.
"Men first. Do you want to try it first?" Moss suddenly fixed his gaze on Adrian, who was closest to him. Reaching into the cage, he grabbed Adrian by the collar.
Without hesitation, Moss raised the syringe, poised to administer the injection.
However, Adrian refused to yield. He defiantly resisted, spitting at Moss when his face drew near.
Moss, struck by Adrian's saliva, involuntarily closed his eyes.
