"I want to have a look." Ariana struggled to sit up, but Sarah stopped her.

"You're still weak. You have to stay in bed."

"No, let me have a look. Just one look." Ariana didn't care about herself now; all she could think about was what Sarah had said. She couldn't imagine what would happen if Theodore had really died.

Thinking of Theodore's body lying still and cold in the morgue, Ariana felt suffocated and wanted to cry.
