“Nah, he doesn't have any use for them anymore. Just get rid of them." Selene then sat down and gazed at the swimming pool in silence.

Meadow felt unsure of Selene's mood and didn't dare to press the matter. She put the blanket and coat in the bag, leaving the ginger tea in the thermos for herself to drink later.

“Have you heard back from the company about the poaching of Ariana that I asked you to do yesterday?" Selene suddenly asked.
