Without even acknowledging Jasper, Ariana ignored him and sat down next to Jayson. She asked him in a hushed voice, "What's going on? Why is Jasper here, and why is he accompanied by an entire team?"

Jayson's face darkened.

"These are the legal counsels of SJ Entertainment. Jasper brought them to claim that SJ Entertainment doesn't approve of Tyler acting in The Missing Body."

Ariana was so angry that she burst out laughing. Raising her head to meet Jasper's eyes, she demanded, "When did SJ Entertainment start restricting its artists from accepting opportunities? This is the first time I've heard of it."

Apart from artists involved in major scandals harshly judged by the public, entertainment companies would generally not interfere with their artists' job opportunities. The only time they did this was as a punishment.

Since Tyler signed as an artist in SJ Entertainment, the company had never arranged any advertisements or events for him. Ariana was the only one sourcing out opportunities for him.

Now that Tyler's career was picking up, these villains wanted to step in and mess up her efforts.

“The company had never restricted its artists from accepting opportunities before, but that doesn't mean it can't do that. After all, the contract is there to restrict our artists' behaviors. They have to follow the company's arrangements, or they will be regarded as breaking the contract," Jasper said while raising his chin arrogantly and smiling at Ariana.

Ariana almost splashed coffee on his face. Such a bastard!

“However, Tyler can shoot the movie if he is paid this amount," he added shrewdly while gesturing an unbelievable number with his fingers.

Ariana's perspective of Jasper worsened. She never expected someone could be as shameless as him.

“What you're expecting far exceeds the industry limit. You are deliberately making things difficult for us!" Ariana scolded as she glared at him.

"Oh, so you can tell I'm deliberately making things difficult for you." Jasper snickered as he crossed his fingers on the table and looked at Ariana and Jayson arrogantly.

“Oh well. What to do? Tyler has already signed the contract. Are you going to break it? If he broke the contract, he could be sued. And when that time comes, Tyler can't participate in any work or event. He will have to wait for the court to pass judgment. It would probably take him at least six months, a year, or even three or four years. Will the public wait that long for him? I don't suppose so," he added.

"Jasper Anderson!" Ariana hollered as she couldn't stand his threats anymore. She picked up the cup of coffee in front of Jayson and splashed it on Jasper's face.

Jasper reacted quickly and dodged the splash. However, he was not quick enough, and some coffee landed on his white shirt, staining it.

“Ariana, how dare you!" Jasper yelled and quickly wiped his clothes with a tissue.

The coffee was hot, and Jayson had barely taken a sip. Now, it was all over Jasper's shirt, and his chest was burning in pain.

“You know what? At least I'm not shameless like you," Ariana hissed.

He should count himself lucky she didn't smash the ceramic cup on his head.
