"Yeah! I really had no choice but to bring Alina with me." With a smirk, Ariana continued to coax him, "The place we're going to today happens to be great for kids, too. I know you're so nice and you're not going to make a big deal out of it, are you?"

Theodore turned his head and said nothing. What else could he say? He couldn't admit he was jealous. He just couldn't bear to see a stranger between him and Ariana, and it didn’t matter that the said stranger was a small child. He was very unhappy. What was supposed to be a date for the two of them tumed into a threesome.

Ariana observed Theodore's expression for a long time and secretly reached out her hand to hold his. To her surprise though, Theodore ruthlessly shook her hand off.

At a loss, she glanced at Horace in the front seat, hoping he'd help her.

Unfortunately, he was concentrating on driving.

Ariana then looked at Alina, who was busy playing with her toys.

If they left the little girl alone, she could do naughty things.

Ariana suddenly leaned down and blew on Theodore's ear, making his whole body shiver. He looked at her in disbelief, covering his ears. He looked so shy all of a sudden.

Before Theodore could react, Ariana took the opportunity to kiss him on the lips.

Seeing that Theodore's face softened, she kissed him again. He was so amused by Ariana that he couldn't keep his cold face anymore.

He pinched her cheek and said helplessly, "Just this once."

Ariana agreed and felt relieved.

She'd actually lied to him. Alina's presence was actually part of her plan.

When Marge brought up the parent-child camping trip, an idea popped up Ariana's mind.

She couldn't quite grasp Theodore's feelings towards the child.

He always seemed to express his distaste for children. He even went as far as saying that he would want an abortion if she ever got pregnant with his child. This made Ariana believe that Theodore despised children, and didn't want anything to do with them.

However, when Alina stayed with the Anderson family, Ariana noticed that Theodore didn't reject her and even spoiled her at times.

This made Ariana wonder if Theodore actually had a soft spot for children, and if there was another reason why he expressed his dislike towards them.

Ariana's curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to use this camping trip as a way to test Theodore's attitude towards children.

She knew that she couldn't keep her pregnancy a secret from him anymore, and she didn't want to hide it from him either, especially since they were in love. So, she asked for Sarah's help in borrowing Alina for the night.
