Feeling down, Ariana took a bite of leek and observed Alina's gaze fixed on Theodore. She wondered if Alina had a thing for beautiful individuals.

Sure enough, Theodore was a sight to behold.

Even more surprising was that despite his impatience, Theodore was incredibly gentle while feeding Alina. He took care to peel, prick and serve the food at the right temperature. No wonder Alina was drawn to him.

Ariana placed a hand on her belly.

This child would surely adore its father in the future.

But what about Theodore? Would he return the affection?

Ariana was lost in thought and remained still. Seeing that, Theodore pinched her hand and asked softly, "Why are you distracted? What's wrong with your belly? Are you uncomfortable?"

It was only then that Ariana came to her senses. When she met Theodore's worried eyes, she quickly removed her hand from her belly and said, "Nothing! I'm just full."

Theodore nodded silently. He was relieved to see that it was nothing serious and continued to feed Alina.

When Alina had finished eating, Ariana dished some food and put it in Theodore's plate.

“you should also eat something,” Ariana said softly. She picked up a bite of roasted squid with the fork and brought it in Theodore's mouth.

Theodore just took a bite of the food and stopped eating. He clenched his fists and said to Ariana, "Let me show you something good."

“What's up? Why are you so mysterious?" Ariana asked curiously.

“Come closer and you'll see for yourself," Theodore said gently with a smile. He looked even more gorgeous now.

Theodore's smile enchanted Ariana and made her lose all desire to resist. She leaned forward and asked, "What is it?"

Theodore smiled but didn't say anything.

“Come on, what is it?"

Ariana's curiosity was fully aroused. She pulled Theodore's fist to see what he was hiding there.

“Alright, alright. Let me show you." Theodore didn't want to prolong the suspense any longer. He reached out and opened his fist. A huge cricket flew out and leapt directly in front of Ariana.

Ariana was so scared that she almost dropped the plate in her hand.
