Chapter: 101
Since they had been awfully quiet for quite a while, Rosalynn had to break the awkward silence.
“Are you hungry?”
Brian glanced at her and asked in a teasing tone, “Why? Are you hungry again? Are you a reincarnation of a pig or something?"
Rosalynn pursed her lips and clenched her hands.
Just when she thought that this man was being nice, he would act this way again.
"Yes, |am a reincarnation of a pig. Since you are not, then you don't have to eat anything!"
Brian's face darkened. But after seeing Rosalynn run to the roadside stalls, he just shook his head and eventually smiled.
Rosalynn first went to a stall that sold beef skewers, and Brian had no choice but to follow her.
Seeing the disgust in Brian's eyes when he saw the grilled meat on the stick, she gently blew the meat and put it near his mouth.
“Come on, try it. It's not poisonous."
Brian frowned as he looked at her. But when he saw her sparkling eyes, he subconsciously opened his mouth and took a bite.
"$0? How is it?" Rosalyn asked excitedly.
Brian's eyes lit up, surprised that it actually tasted good.
He then chewed the food quietly and said, "Go and try more from the other stands. You need to cook some dishes and display your skills in the meeting tomorrow.”
The partner they were meeting was a gourmet, and it was also one of the reasons why he had Rosalyn join him in this business trip.
He hoped that Rosalynn's brilliant cooking could help him seal the deal.
"Yes, | know," Rosalyn said calmly, leisurely eating the street food.
She was indeed a smart and capable woman.
Brian couldn't help but let out a faint smile.
They continued to stroll around. Like Rosalynn, Brian ate the local food while walking.
Rosalynn visited more roadside stands, talking about the food with Brian from time to time.
Eventually, the night sky appeared, and the neon lights from the roadside signs started to glow brightly.
Rosalynn didn't know if it was just her imagination, but it seemed that someone was following them.
"It's time for us to go back to the hotel," Brian said as he suddenly held Rosalynn’s waist.
Rosalynn froze and instinctively tried to get rid of his hand. But before she could act, Brian whispered in her ear, "Just go along. Someone's following us.”
