Chapter: 103
Thankfully, Brian intervened each time, keeping her safe.

It was only after the men were defeated, clutching their stomachs in pain, that Rosalyn and Brian shared a smile, grabbed their belongings, and swiftly left.

Once in the car, Brian straightened his attire and glanced at Rosalynn, remarking, "You have quite the fighting skills.”

Rosalynn averted her gaze, replying, "Women are often seen as vulnerable. It's essential for us to learn self-defense."

For a moment, Brian felt the coldness in her tone.

He studied her with curiosity before turning away in silence.

His instincts told him she was hiding something.

Eventually, the car arrived at the hotel without incident.

Brian exited the vehicle and closed the door.

When he turned around, he saw that Rosalynn was walking in a strange manner.

“What happened to you?"

During the fight with the men, Rosalynn had sprained her ankle.

She didn't feel pain just now, but now she calmed down and felt a little pain.

“It's nothing. Just a twisted ankle.”

Upon hearing this, Brian stepped forward and scooped her up into his arms.

Rosalynn froze. She put her arms around his neck subconsciously, and her heart beat fast.

“I'm alright. Please put me down."

Brian remained silent, carrying her into the hotel and requesting ointment from the front desk.

He then entered the elevator, still holding Rosalyn.

Her face flushed, Rosalyn squirmed and insisted, "I'm truly fine. I'm heavy; please put me down.”

Brian glanced at her, responding, “At least you're self-aware. If you know you're not exactly light, perhaps don't eat as much."

Rosalynn found herself at a loss for words.

Her words were merely a polite gesture.

She didn't ask him to carry her in his arms!

Brian brought her into his room.
