Chapter: 1175
Upon seeing Rosalynn, Maggie's eyes welled up as if she'd found her anchor in a storm.

“Don't cry. I'm here."

Rosalynn embraced her, gently patting her back to provide some comfort.

Maggie sobbed, slowly regaining her composure.

Brian, standing a bit apart, noticed the police officer who was still present. He reached out to introduce himself.

“Hello, I'm Brian Hughes."

“You're the owner of Hughes Group?" The officer shook his hand.

Brian nodded slightly before inquiring about the officer's knowledge of the incident.

Meanwhile, Rosalynn was also questioning Maggie about the situation.

Maggie relayed the events that had transpired-Yana‘s appearance, her failed attempt on Maggie's Life, and Sanford's resulting injury.

Tears welled in her eyes and she broke down crying once again.

"If it weren't for Sanford, I would be the one inside that room. Rosalynn, he lost so much blood. If anything were to happen to him, I could never forgive myself.”

Rosalynn continued her comforting pats on Maggie's back, whispering words of reassurance.

“Don't worry. He'll be fine, I'm sure of it."

Brian, having finished his conversation with the police officer, was silently relieved that he had left his wife at home. Knowing her temperament, she might have ended up in harm's way.

“Maggie.”

Bart approached Maggie after having his wounds treated.

Maggie dried her tears and made introductions.

“Rosalynn, this is my younger brother. Bart, meet Mr. and Mrs. Hughes."

Taken aback by the stature of his sister's friends, Bart greeted them respectfully.

“It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes.”

“No need for formalities. I consider Maggie a sister. You can call me Rosalynn."
