Chapter: 209
Sensing his concern, Rosalynn responded obediently, “Alright.”

Brian cast a glance at her before bidding the police chief farewell.

"I'll take her away now."

"Sure."

As Brian escorted Rosalynn away, the police chief couldn't help but speculate on her significance.

She was merely a designer, yet Brian had personally come to the station for her release.

Rosalynn must be important to him.

Outside, Brian instructed Keegan, "Call Carson and have him meet me at the Technology Center.”

"Understood."

Keegan pulled out his phone to make the call.

Rosalynn accompanied Keegan, preparing to enter his car.

Brian glanced at her and ordered, "Rosalynn, come with me to the Technology Center."

With his icy expression, Rosalynn silently complied and climbed into his vehicle.

A driver manned the car while Brian took a seat beside Rosalynn.

The car moved at a leisurely pace, and Brian remained tight-lipped.

The stifling atmosphere prompted Rosalynn to clear her throat.

“The materials used in the Technology Center are subpar. Carson also hired thugs to monitor the construction workers. It appears this isn't his first time. | don't believe he should continue overseeing the project.”

Brian offered no response, though his chiseled features grew even colder.

Unsure of his thoughts, Rosalynn inquired tentatively, "Did you hear what | said?"

Brian retorted icily, "I'm not deaf.”

So he just didn't want to talk to her?

Had she done something wrong?
