Chapter: 210
Why take his frustration out on her?
Preferring silence, Rosalynn turned her gaze to the window.
“Stop the car."
Brian's sudden command caught her off-guard.
Realizing they hadn't reached the Technology Center, Rosalynn shot him a puzzled glance.
Wordlessly, Brian exited the vehicle.
Where was he going?
Why keep her in the dark?
Rosalynn observed as Brian entered a pharmacy.
Moments later, he returned with a bag.
“Start the car," Brian commanded, and the driver complied.
Rosalynn wanted to inquire further. But his frosty expression silenced her.
It wasn't until the car reached the Technology Center and Rosalynn prepared to disembark that Brian uttered, "Don't move.”
Rosalyn froze. The next things she knew, Brian was holding a tube of ointment with one hand and pinching her chin with the other.
He drew closer, while Rosalynn could only stare blankly at his handsome face.
So, he had bought that ointment for her just now.
“lcan do it myself.”
Rosalynn leaned back and tried to get out of his grasp.
But he merely glanced up to meet her eyes. He didn't seem the slightest bit inclined to let her go.
"Don't move," he said, sounding a little angry now.
Rosalynn blinked at him in the most innocent way she could manage.
After making sure that she wouldn't try to wriggle away, Brian finally let go of her chin. He squeezed a bit of the ointment onto a cotton swab and gently applied it to the red mark on her cheek.
