At the counter, two salespeople huddled, their excitement palpable.

Rosalynn was utterly surprised.

Brian was always busy. It was so unusual of him to go out of his way and buy something at the mall himself.

"Yes, that's right! He bought the newly-released limited edition jewelry worth eighty million dollars!" One of the saleswomen couldn't contain her excitement.

“Wow, that's so generous of him. He must have bought it for Eleanor, right?" Another saleswoman giggled.

"Who else would it be for? Isn't Eleanor rumored to become Mrs. Hughes soon?"

“Oh my God, I'LL leave a comment on Eleanor's Twitter!"

“That's a good idea! Don't forget to post the photo of the invoice!”

Hearing the conversation between the saleswomen, Karina frowned, pretty much irritated.

“Humph! Does Brian like Eleanor that much? He really is a jerk.

Rosalynn, you should date Barlow to piss Brian off!" Karina suggested.

Initially, Rosalynn also felt a little disappointed upon hearing what the saleswomen said. But after hearing Karina's words, she calmed down.

“Why should I punish myself for someone else's mistake? Let's go shopping. Don't mind it.”

Brian was a playboy, Rosalynn already knew that. So, she didn't care whom he bought the jewelry for.

It had nothing to do with her.

But Karina pouted and pulled Rosalynn out of the store.

“Yeah, we will go shopping. But I don't want to buy any jewelry from Hughes Group! Let‘s go find another store."

Rosalynn chuckled, appreciating her friend's concern.

“It's okay. I don't think it's necessary."
