Chapter: 289
Why the hell wouldn't she want to be with him?
She could say the word, and he would marry her again in a heartbeat.
“Please, I am not insane." Rosalynn's tone was deprecating. She wasn't like him, who would fancy anyone who caught his eye.
She stood up and smoothed her clothes.
"Thank you for Lunch. How much is it? I'll transfer you my half of the cost."
Brian's expression turned dangerous now.
He stared long and hard at her before biting out two words.
“Get out."
The woman was too stubborn for her own good.
No, she was too stubborn for his well-being!
Rosalynn settled back into her seat, feeling composed.
Maggie, however, appeared lost in thought.
“Maggie, have you had anything to eat yet?" Rosalynn asked casually Maggie remained silent, merely gazing at her phone, tears welling in her eyes.
Rosalynn didn't receive a response and cast a wary glance at her.
Tears rolled down Maggie's cheeks
Taken aback, Rosalynn hurried over.
“What’s going on, Maggie?”
Maggie bit her lip, embraced Rosalynn, and wept.
“Rosalynn, it's true. Lloyd betrayed me. They are shameless!"
Rosalynn gently patted her back, consoling her softly.
“Don't be upset. What happened? Do you see it with your own eyes?”
Maggie attempted to compose herself and handed Rosalynn her phone.
