Chapter: 1031
She was lying in the hospital bed, her ankle still a little bit swollen after undergoing some treatment. She could now walk normally with minimal pain but was not allowed to do strenuous exercises at the moment.
In fact, the doctor advised her that she could leave the hospital if she liked. However, it seemed that it wasn't Jessie's intention. Instead, she decided to stay in the hospital for one more week.
Her reason for doing this was quite simple.
She thought that the longer she stayed in the hospital, the more sympathy she would get from the netizens. After all, they would think she was seriously hurt.
If she was back on the set with a plastered leg and a wheel chair, it might turn out even be better.
After buying a wheelchair online, Jessie Logged in to Twitter to see what was happening. But to her surprise, most people were criticizing her for being unprofessional.
"What?!" Jessie almost shouted in astonishment.
While she was in the hospital, she had not paid any attention about the filming. She didn't even know that Maria filled in as a stunt double to perform in some difficult fighting scenes.
“What the hell? I am the one injured and is in the hospital. Why are these people not giving me their sympathy?”
Jessie was puzzled and utterly frustrated. Then, her face became gloomier as she watched the video clips uploaded to Twitter by Sophie.
How could Sophie do such a thing? Why would she share these behind-the-scenes videos online, knowing that it would get Jessie into trouble?
Jessie was so infuriated that people were all accusing her as an unprofessional actress.
The first thing she thought was that if she was going down, she would definitely drag Maria with her. Thus, she wasted no time and began digging more into Maria's past. What Jessie wanted was for Maria to become the target of these online haters again.
However, she was a bit uncertain about what to do.
So, she waited patiently and observed the social media for a while. Then, she saw that a few minutes ago, Maria posted a new tweet.
Seeing this, Jessie was thrilled.
Maria promised her fans to update her Twitter more often, and she delivered. She would post something almost every day.
When she had to work or sleep for a long time and couldn't post in time, she would ask Anthony to do it for her.
For instance, Maria's Latest tweet which Jessie was looking at was posted by Anthony. It was the picture of a knife with the words, “My new kitchen knife. How do you like it?"
Maria's fans found her tweets very interesting.
Unlike other actresses, she didn't post pictures of expensive dishes, tourists spots or herself at the gym.
Instead, she posted odd things like socks and knives, and that was pretty cool.
Maria had a unique style on Twitter which the fans loved. Looking at the picture, they noticed that the kitchen knife in itself was just as unusual as her posts.
Generally speaking, well-to-do families or rich families usually used exquisite kitchen utensils that represented their wealth.
