Jeremy was actually stunned after hearing her response, but it was followed by a deep sigh of relief.

He remembered that long ago, he also didn't take Maria seriously because of her seemingly unsophisticated appearance and aloof behavior. This was a mistake that most people committed. They were quick to judge her without seeing what she was really capable of.

“Didn't you hear me say earlier that Miss Jenkins will be the one in charge of every work arrangement of the crew until Francis comes back? So, why am I the one you're asking?"

Leaving everyone speechless, Jeremy suddenly remembered that he had a date with a female star tonight. So, he turned around and went away in high spirits.

It took the crew a long time to actually absorb that it wasn't just a joke.
