Chapter: 107
“Vivian, does Maria really know how to be a director?" Sally asked in a low voice, and the supporting actors and actresses beside her also strained their ears to listen.

As a cast member, Vivian was well aware that everyone's dissatisfaction with Maria was close to hitting the limit. Someone might blow up at Maria at any second now.

All Vivian had to do was fan the fire.

"I know for sure that Maria never Learned how to be a director," Vivian replied cautiously, making sure that her volume was loud enough for people around her, but not Maria in the distance. Surely, their faces immediately darkened.

They were all professional actors, and the last thing they wanted to do was to be in a bad show.

One bad show could ruin an actor's career forever.

“But who knows, maybe she's naturally talented. Maybe she is born to be a director," Vivian continued innocently, as if she was really giving Maria the benefit of the doubt.

“How could anyone be born to be a director? Directing is something you can be good at only after Learning and doing it for years," one of the actors replied, pursing his lips in displeasure.

He looked at Maria hatefully, as if he wanted to go over and drag her out of the director's chair.

The others nodded in agreement. Their distrust of Maria grew.

At this moment, Maria picked up Francis’ megaphone and spoke.

“The actors playing the main Leads and supporting roles, come over here. I am going to take you through the next few scenes."

Hearing this, the whole crew was stunned. Well, that was, everyone except Lyndsey.

Jay noticed Lyndsey take out a pen and a notebook at once, like a studious student. Was she about to take notes?!

“Vivian, is Maria really going to give us directions on how to act?" Sally asked incredulously. Obviously, she didn't believe one bit that Maria had the ability.

Vivian was also dumbfounded.

As far as she knew, Maria might not even have read the original book of the Legend of Anne. How could someone without any knowledge of the source material or the skill and experience of a director take the helm?

Maria's announcement drew everyone's attention. As they stared at her, they could barely conceal the smug look on their faces. Most of them were looking forward to seeing her make a fool of herself.

"Jay." Without beating around the bush, Maria called out the name of the lead actor.

“Yes." Jay nodded and stepped forward.
