Chapter: 1084
Both Maria and Darren walked out of the dean's office without sparing a glance at the director and his team.
Shortly after, Curt's phone buzzed.
It was an email from Maria. She sent him the original copies of the recent chapters of her book.
Excited, Curt was about to open his email when he realized that his office was still crowded.
He looked at the well-dressed stars, the staff carrying cameras, and the guy dressed in a vest who was likely the director.
Curt frowned and said to Marlin, "Merlin, why don't you see our guests out? They were about to leave.”
"What is going on?" The director and several other guests wondered collectively.
Who was Leaving? They all wanted to stay for a little Longer!
Curt Willows was a reputable personality. How could he be remiss in extending common courtesy to his guests?
But once Curt had given his orders, Merlin was quick to follow them.
He began to see the guests off with a suave smile. Clearly, he was good at dealing with people.
In no time, the director and his companions found themselves standing outside the dean's office, without even realizing how they had ended up there.
“Sir... What should we do now?" Shera asked in an apprehensive tone. The director's mouth twitched.
Based on the original plan, they should be heading over to the Music School of the university.
But both Darren and Maria had just appeared on the show at this point. Was it really necessary to go to the Music School now, when it had nothing to do with them, anyway?
“Maria might be Mr. Willow's student, but there's nothing remarkable about her apart from that. It would be best to film Darren, so we can wrap up faster." The director's thoughts were racing.
Darren was the most important guest on this show, and therefore deserved the extra air time.
Unfortunately, up until now, they didn't get any scenes that could be used! Darren had been playing Maria's errand boy, constantly attending to her needs and even making coffee for them in the Curt's office.
The director was understandably worried that he would draw some flak and negative publicity from the Yeez Team's fans.
The focus should have been on Darren, with some fan service content sprinkled here and there.
“We'll skip the Music School! The shoot is now temporarily suspended Arrange for transportation and move the whole crew to the northern campus of Sheffield University!" The director barked out his orders through gritted teeth.
Maria, who had already gone to the Music School believing that was their next stop, curled her lips in displeasure when she was told to go back.
“If you don't like this show, why don't we just quit?" Darren suggested in a low voice.
He was known for upstanding and straightforward character.
