Chapter: 1090
But what was going on with Maria?
How could she still be playing games even at the most critical of moments now?
Sure enough, she was a country bumpkin after all.
Vivian sneered to herself. She didn't speak to Maria about the importance of preparing a suitable question.
Soon, the party of cast and crew arrived at the venue.
The place was decorated simply.
It was laid out like a large classroom with a small station for snacks and refreshments. The classroom itself had a stern feel.
Everyone immediately Looked a little nervous
The assistant director consulted with the person in charge of the meeting, providing the roster of the production team.
“Everyone can take a seat now." The assistant director returned and reported excitedly.
The director was greatly relieved.
He was not sure if their group of the program would be welcome by these scientists and scholars.
Almost everyone present was an expert in a particular field of science. The director felt a little embarrassed that his team of stars from the entertainment circle was about to join these outstanding figures.
The cameramen of the production team stood at the back of the class so as not to disturb anything with their presence.
The six guests and the directors sat in the last row.
These scholars of Broome University and Sheffield University soon began to have a heated discussion.
The cast were lost in the complicated jargon used by the experts.
Shera said helplessly, “Oh my God! I haven't a clue what they are saying!"
"Okay, we're half-way through today's meeting agenda. Let's have a short break." Chaz Bennett, who was the host of the meeting as well as the Dean at the School of Mathematics and Science of Sheffield University, announced to those present at the meeting.
Chaz was seated onstage. He turned to a senior man who was seated beside him and said, "Mr. Newman, what do you think?"
The senior man was none other than the Dean of the No. 1 Research Institute of Broome University and Sophie's grandfather, Gary Newman
Gary gave a curt nod and said, "You're the host, Mr. Bennett. It's really up to you."
Chaz laughed.
“Okay, let's have a more relaxed session. Among us today we have several friends that come from non-scientific backgrounds. I think we should hand the microphone over to them, shall we?"
