Chapter: 110
Patricia played a supporting role in the Legend of Anne. But she was not as dedicated as the other actors who made themselves readily available. They worked with the crew day in, day out.

After all, she was an official of the Film and Television Association who had been in the entertainment industry for over two decades. Naturally, she believed she didn't have to try so hard anymore.

She only came to the filming site when she had a shooting task. Given the fact that she was a member of the Film and Television Association, Yeez Entertainment didn't really bother her.

According to the shooting schedule, Patricia had a part to play today. That was the reason she came.

“Aunt Patricia!"

Vivian walked up to Patricia and greeted her. After that, she explained the current situation to her.

“What! Are you trying to tell me that Mr. Jackson has been in the hospital and Maria is now the acting chief director until he gets back?"

There was a megaphone in Maria's hand while she sat on Francis’ seat. Patricia couldn't help but stare at her for a split second.

It was pretty obvious to her that Yeez Entertainment would decline in a few years. How could the boss make such a laughable arrangement? What was going through Francis' mind when he chose to appoint a young girl as the director in charge of such a big TV project? Did he really think that she had the ability to handle it?

Apparently Patricia didn't just have reservations about Maria‘s role. She despised her and Looked down on Yeez Entertainment.

“Aunt Patricia!"

Vivian wanted to say something pertaining to Maria but she quickly had a rethink and stopped herself.

If she was to go by Maria's performance so far, then the temporary appointment was not unreasonable. Actually, it was nothing but laudable.

Nonetheless, admitting that the adopted daughter of the Jenkins family was more outstanding than Vivian herself was a bitter pill to swallow. So she couldn't do it.

“You have been bullied, haven't you? Don't worry about that any longer. I'll avenge you!"

A subtle smile stretched Patricia's lips as she walked gracefully to Jay.

"It's been a while, Mr. Reed."

“It's been a long time indeed, Miss Hughes." Jay looked at her and nodded his head.

His politeness pleased Patricia a great deal. She could barely hide her happiness.

“I heard that the director is sick. Is that true? If that's the case, then what will become of the shooting work? I know a lot of famous directors in the Film and Television Association. I could connect you to one if you like."
