“Hey!" she smiled.

“You haven't had a good rest in two days. Go and get some sleep first," Anthony said in a flat tone.

Maria pouted and looked away Like a naughty child.

Anthony chuckled at this and teased, "It's either you sleep, or you sleep with me. Take your pick." His tone was very seductive, changing the atmosphere and charming her.

Maria looked at him, fighting the urge not to choose what he obviously wanted--to sleep with him.

So she pursed her lips and made her decision.

“I'm going to sleep then. We'll talk Later."

Before she left, she stole one last glance at the mobile phone covered by the scarf.

In the hibernation pod, it wasn't long before Maria was sound asleep. She usually dreamt of a pristine and white empty world. There was no life on this clinical planet apart from Anthony.

Anthony had been featuring in her dreams a lot recently.

In Maria's dream world this time, it was just her and Anthony.

In the dream, Maria tugged at Anthony's sleeves. She asked him if he had approached her on purpose.

Anthony smiled but did not answer.

He then asked his own questions.

Maria refused to hear though and placed her hands atop her ears.

The situation felt Like a stalemate.

The duo said no more to each other but walked slowly, hand in hand. Click-click!

This was the sound of a computer mouse clicking.

Anthony was now seated at a desk with the promotional video of My College Life's seventh episode playing onscreen.

The video was an interview and the person being interviewed was the chief director of the show My College Life.

“Sir, can you please enlighten us? What is a rookie like Maria doing among the other special guests?"

“I can't really answer that one because it was not my decision.

On the first day of Maria's joining the show, Darren became her assistant.
