Chapter: 113
A lot of the cast and crew members still hadn't known the relationship between Maria and Vivian.
But now they finally understood, after hearing Vivian's speech.
No wonder Vivian dared to stand up and shout at Maria in public like this.
It turned out that they were part of the same family.
The atmosphere on the set of the Legend of Anne was getting more serious and intense.
Everyone actually wanted to see how Maria would respond to her sister's question.
"So, it turns out that being old means being right..." Maria murmured to herself, letting out a faint smile.
The megaphone was still on, so even though Maria was talking to herself, everyone could clearly hear what she said.
“Respect the old and cherish the young. Didn't you ever hear of that saying?" Vivian sneered, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
She was confident that she would win in the end because she criticized Maria based on having a moral ground.
“Well, based on what you said... Then, all this time, the witch was right. It is us who have wronged her," Maria slowly said, her expression firm and serious.
But of course, it wasn't the real case. The witch wasn't wronged by anyone.
Hearing this, a smart actress suddenly blurted out, "But the old witch can't be right. Otherwise, why is everyone disgusted at her?"
Just like that, everyone realized what Maria was really thinking. They couldn't help but laugh, knowing that it was such an intelligent perspective.
Realizing that she instantly fell off the higher ground, Vivian blushed hard and trembled with anger.
“Are you still not convinced? Then, answer this. Would a bad person become good just because he or she has gotten older?" Maria asked indifferently.
Unable to answer, Vivian could just grit her teeth and remain silent. She couldn't embarrass herself any more than this.
"Miss Jenkins, our schedule for today is very tight. It will be better if we continue filming." In order to lessen the tension, the assistant director had to remind Maria respectfully.
Seeing how both Lyndsey and Jay defended Maria, the assistant director had somehow come to his senses. He now accepted and treated her as the chief director.
On the other hand, Maria just nodded and paid no attention to Patricia and Vivian anymore.
