Maria had had a marathon session. By the time she went back to her hotel room, she was so exhausted, she was ready to drop dead.

She threw herself on the bed to rest but Anthony called at the same time.

"Hello..." Maria answered the phone weakly.

"I heard that you had a Live streaming tonight. I'm sorry that I didn't show up to support you. I had something important to attend to and missed your session." Anthony's enchanting voice was full of undisguised tenderness

! It's okay. That's fine," Maria replied. It was just a sales of middle school counseling books. His assistance was not required.

“Anyway, I came to the hotel to see you. Open the door and I'LL apologize to you face to face," Anthony said. Maria was blown away.

Maria was stupefied. She bounced off the bed in the hotel room.

Then she looked in the direction of the door. Was Anthony really outside her room at this ungodly hour?

Maria opened the door and in popped Anthony.

She recognized his familiar figure, wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a mask. Only a pair of deep-set eyes were exposed on his face.

Who else could it be but Anthony?

He didn't need to sit in a wheel chair as he was in disguise.

“Are you going to refuse my entry now that our engagement has been cancelled?" Anthony asked in a jovial tone.

Maria's cheeks flushed but her body was honest.

She quietly slipped to the side to make way for Anthony.

It was just that when he strode into the room with his head held high that Maria felt he was showing his attitude. She felt like a young soldier being scrutinized by the squad leader

There was a bitten apple on the bedside table.

Beside the apple was a can of the most common cheap beer sold in the convenience store downstairs.

“Are you having beer with apple? Is that some kind of new way to drink beer?" Anthony asked teasingly.

Maria muttered, "Well, after the Live broadcast ended... I was thirsty so I bought myself a beer. The apple came with the hotel room.” Anthony slowly removed his mask and smiled.

Maria blushed when she saw him smile.

“I was in an adventurous mood so I decided to give it a try and had it with the apple... just to see if it would taste like fruit-flavored beers."

“What ?"

Maria suddenly realized that Anthony was calling her using her Heaven ID.
