Chapter: 1218
They had just returned to the Jenkins family, so none of them wanted to be looked down upon immediately.

Out of the blue, someone stood up and shouted, “Please give me a single room!"

"Yes, of course." With a smile, Doris took out a bunch of keys and handed one of them to the other party Like they were the most precious thing in the world.

The man paid for the room for the night. As he dragged his Luggage with him, there was a pained expression on his face, as though he was already regretting his decision.

“I want one room too!" When one took the lead, more followed. After a while, the room keys in Doris' hand became fewer.

Vivian and Bill also wanted to rent a room. However, since the movie had gone bankrupt, they were operating on very tight finances.

“Dad... What should we do?" Vivian whispered.

She still had some savings left, but she didn't want to spend it here. Instead, she waited for Bill to take the initiative and pay for the both of them.

“Vivian, Dad's business has gone bankrupt, and I have no money right now. You still have some savings with you, right?" Bill said in hushed tones, hoping that his daughter would pay for the both of them.

Vivian looked away as she hesitated to part ways with her savings.

However, after only a short span of time, there were only two keys left in Doris' hand.

The only ones who had not yet claimed a room were Vivian, Bill, and Maria.

Doris stared at the three of them and was growing impatient. "Well, are the three of you going to sleep next to the cow shed?"

Doris wanted to meet these people in person. Aside from the fact that it was an order straight from the matriarch, she also wanted to earn extra money out of them. Between the two, the latter objective was more important.

If she were to successfully rent out all the rooms in her three-story building for one night, it would add tens of thousands of dollars to her income.

If she played her cards right, she could make a lot of money in a single night!

.» I want a room!" Bill finally agreed after hesitating for a long time. He approached Doris and grabbed a key to a single room.

Then, he said to Vivian, “You sleep on the bed, while I'll sleep on the floor."

Vivian was happy she didn't have to pay.

Vivian pretended to be sorry for her poor father. "Thank you, Dad!" Doris watched all this happen from the side and said nothing. Apparently, this had happened before.

Since she was making money either way, she didn't care about trivial things like two people sharing a room where one had to sleep on the floor.

“Miss Maria, I heard that you're a superstar. I'm sure you're not short of five thousand dollar, right?" Doris said, almost dangling the key in front of Maria.

The only one left was the Luxurious suite. Staying there for one night would cost 500@ dollars.

Although Doris called it Luxury, in reality, it was just a normal bedroom with a Large double bed. On top of it, she would ask people to provide drinks and snacks, but that was it.
