Chapter: 1289
He made up his mind. He was going to buy some very precious pills to make Maria regret not coming with him.
Not long after, they were all in the main auction house. The beautiful hall had two floors. Vivian was a little confused. The seats in the lower floor looked almost the same as those in an ordinary cinema hall.
The upper floor on the other hand seemed to be another world. It had multiple private boxes that had one-way glass windows. Those outside couldn't see inside the private boxes, but she was certain that the guests inside could see the outside perfectly.
Also, they surely had a better view thanks to the height.
“Sir, who are those boxes for?" Vivian Looked at Elton curiously.
“Keep your voice down, and don't Look that way!"
Elton was suddenly nervous, and Vivian wondered why he reacted that way just at the mention of the boxes.
With a sigh, he came closer to her and explained discreetly, “Those private rooms are prepared by the Pill Alchemist Association for distinguished guests. The only people that can have access to those rooms are the heads of ancient clans and top-grade pill alchemists recognized by the Association.”
Just as soon, their attention was drawn to a commotion as the entrance of the main hall.
“What do you mean by that? I'm third in Line to being the head of the Tucker family. What do you mean by I don't have the access to a private room? You know what? I want to see the person in charge of the auction. Now!"
Vivian tried to find the voice and saw a young man surrounded by several bodyguards. He had on a luxury suit and was demanding the presence of the manager.
The young man was indeed very arrogant, but the expensive clothes he was wearing and the Limited-edition watch on his wrist was enough proof that he was an influential and important person.
The captain of security guards seemed to be unmoved by this though, and this confused Vivian a lot.
The guard Looked at the young man with equal arrogance and said, "Don't think so much of yourself, young man. Even if you were first in line to being the head of your family, you still don't have the necessary qualifications to use the private rooms here. Now, get a seat in the lower floor like the rest.
If you don't like that, you can leave!"
Colden Tucker glared at the security guard, pissed and impatient.
“You are a mere security guard, and you dare to talk to me Like this? How dare you!"
To Colden's surprise, the guard looked rather insulted and offended instead of being scared. "You're the one who made the mistake of using that tone on me when you only have little first and second level martial artists with you."
Colden's mouth almost dropped open. He was the third in line to being the heir of the Tucker family, an ancient clan. He had always been treated with utmost respect and was never spoken to this way.
Even if this guard didn't know who he was, the five level one warriors and three level two warriors protecting him should have been a hint on how important he was.
With all these factors, Colden was a little taken aback that the common security guard knew the Levels of his own guards just by looking at them.
“Mr. Tucker, you should try calming down. This man is at least a level three martial artist," whispered one of Colden's level two guards in his ear.
Colden Looked at the man sharply.
The man was at least on level three?
