Chapter: 1293
On the stage, Lilianna didn't give a damn what the guests in the Lower area of the hall thought of her. To her, the people she had to impress were those in the private rooms in the upper floor.

Although she couldn't see the important guests in the private rooms, she knew they were in there, thanks to her position in the auction house.

From what she was told, there were several important guests in the private rooms. Better still, one of them were in Room 1, and Lilianna knew what it meant to be in that room.

Not anyone had the right to use that private room of the auction house of the Pill Alchemist Association.

Her heart seemed to beat faster as she thought of this.

Today was probably the most important auction of her career. She had to be in her best behaviour and performance to wow the guests.

Lilianna nodded to herself and reminded herself to be careful. She looked at the crowd and said, “Like we have always done, we will begin with the one-star treasure, which is the Sun Pill produced by the third grade pill alchemist, Mr. Elton Acosta, from the Jenkins family of Broome.

This pill has the good effect of gathering force and carnalizing the spirit. It equally helps to stabilize energy and will be of great help to cultivators who have just reached level three of martial arts.

We have 50 Sun Pills in total and we are beginning the bid at 10 million dollars."

The starting price of just 5@ pills was 10 million dollars?! Vivian looked at her teacher in awe. His pill was the first to be auctioned. She was impressed and proud.

A pure look of pride appeared on the man’s face, even though Lilianna did clearly state that it was just a one star treasure.

The treasures auctioned during these occasions were usually rated from one to five stars, one being the lowest, and of course, five the highest.

That meant that the Sun Pill was actually the Lowest and cheapest in this auction.

Elton didn't care about this little detail though. All that mattered was that his pill was in the auction, and that only proved he was a qualified alchemist.

"10.5 million!" someone shouted from the crowd.

"My family in Broome says 11 million."

"11.5"

Lilianna repeated the bids to everyone's hearing as they came. Elton became even more proud when he saw that several families, groups and forces wanted his pill.

"I didn't expect your pills to be so popular! You're so awesome!" Vivian gushed, flattering his ego.

Elton nodded gloatingly.

“Not everyone can produce third grade pills after all."

Other members of the Jenkins family joined in and flattered him too. Doris however, knew what they didn't. According to her, there was no reason for Elton to gloat. After spending so many years in the third grade, the only thing he knew how to produce was this Sun Pill. He hadn't improved in any way.

She could still remember that a few years ago, the Sun Pill was ranked as a two-star treasure at the auction.

Now, it was a one-star pill, and the first to be auctioned. That was really a shame.
