Chapter: 1349
When Finnegan perused the outcome, a profound astonishment engulfed all those present!

Every individual gazed at Finnegan, their countenances filled with incredulity akin to witnessing a specter. Yet, their attention eventually shifted away from him, diverting towards Isla.

“Are... Are you jesting with me?!" Restlessness overcame Vivian, rendering her incapable of remaining seated any Longer.

She exclaimed in a piercing tone, "Could it truly be that the efficacy of Isla's Concentration Pill has reached a staggering 85%? How could a mere servant possess such remarkable prowess? This result even rivals that of Barbara! Are you out of your mind?!"

Vivian caused quite a scene but she paid little heed to the consequences.

She could mentally bear the defeat against Barbara.

However, the notion of being bested by a servant at Maria's side was utterly intolerable to her.

Barbara's countenance also grew somber.

Firstly, she never anticipated that an obscure individual like Isla could successfully concoct a Concentration Pill with an efficacy nearing 85% of perfection.

Taking into account Isla’s lack of access to any family resources, Barbara concluded that Isla‘'s talent might even surpass her own! Nonetheless, Vivian's words grated on Barbara's nerves the most.

What did Vivian mean by insinuating that their strengths were on par? Comparing herself, a lady of the esteemed Jenkins family, to a servant was an immense insult to Barbara!

Inexplicably, Barbara nurtured a deep animosity towards Vivian.

As Finnegan endured Vivian's vociferous questioning, discontent simmered within him as well.

While he remained skeptical about Isla's ability to produce such a high-quality Concentration Pill, the convergence of their results compelled him to accept that Isla indeed possessed an exceptional talent.

With an elegant gesture, Finnegan adjusted his glasses using his pinkie and uttered in a chilly tone, “As the esteemed examiner of the Pill Alchemist Association, I oversee hundreds of tests for aspiring alchemists of middle and lower ranks each year. Are you questioning my professional competence?"

Before Vivian could respond, Mr. Gonzales found it impossible to remain composed any Longer.

“Mr. Figueroa, please don't be angered. She is a recently returned newcomer to the family, still unaware of the intricacies of the ancient martial world," he interjected.

Turning to Vivian, he continued, “Miss Vivian, I implore you to promptly offer your apologies to Mr. Figueroa, or I will have to bring this matter to the attention of Mrs. Jenkins for resolution."

Vivian's countenance underwent a dramatic change.

She never anticipated that the judge of the family competition would possess such a formidable background. It became apparent that offending him would bear heavy consequences.

Left with no choice, Vivian reluctantly bowed to Finnegan and offered her apology.

The latter emitted a disdainful snort and saw no reason to engage in a public argument with her.

On the stage, when Mrs. Jenkins received the news, her visage remained cold and impassive, bearing no trace of change.

It appeared that Isla's performance held little significance to her, as if it were either expected or inconsequential.
