Chapter: 1575
The Pharmacopoeia contained only fundamental information about registered pills, confirming their authenticity and efficacy, all while keeping the precious formulas concealed.
Maintaining the Pharmacopoeia through regular updates was Jadiel's duty, a task demanding his unwavering dedication over the years.
Hearing this, Maria cast a glance at her watch.
"Excuse me, but I'm on a tight schedule. I must return home promptly,"
Maria explained.
"Oh... I see...
"
Jadiel assumed that Maria needed to safeguard the formula of the Three Swirling Golden Pill.
Certainly, some pill alchemists preferred to avoid the limelight and keep their alchemical feats hidden from the Pharmacopoeia.
As Jadiel was about to express his understanding, Maria interjected, "You can simply approach Goodwin for this. I've given him a Three Swirling Golden Pill, and he should have the necessary information for its inclusion in the Pharmacopoeia."
“What? You mean?"
Jadiel was genuinely taken aback this time.
He was puzzled because Maria's background information showed that she was from the Jenkins family in Broome.
It was odd enough for a family on the decline for almost two decades to have cultivated someone as skilled as Maria.
Yet, he was more confused and shocked when he heard Maria's words.
Maria knew Goodwin. It came as something of a surprise to him.
"Well... May I know... What's your relationship with Goodwin?" Jadiel inquired, unable to contain his curiosity.
Maria's lips formed a peculiar smile. After a brief pause, she responded, “A master and his disciple."
Holy shit! Jadiel almost collapsed to the ground at this.
While still recovering from the shock, Maria proceeded, "I've lost a fair amount of time. Does the Pill Alchemist Association have a helicopter? Would it be possible for you to arrange one for me so that I can return to the Jenkins residence in time?"
Maria could imagine that Barbara had probably arrived and started to cause trouble for her at the Jenkins family estate.
While Maria never thought Barbara's schemes would be something of big trouble, she still needed to spend time tackling them.
"Helicopter? Absolutely, we've got one!"
Jadiel grinned with confidence.
