With an arrogant tone, Vivian remarked, “Thomas, my elder sister only has a high school diploma. She's not someone who can pick up complex knowledge just by reading books or other stuff."

But before she could continue ridiculing Maria, Thomas waved his hand and interrupted her.

"Who said that diploma is the only basis to measure one's knowledge? Whether you only graduated high school or you get your PhD, learning is a lifelong process."
