Chapter: 229
Since it was the first day, the trainees all gathered there early. While waiting for the organizers to give the opening speech, they casually walked around the venue to look around. A few of them even deftly turned on their mobile phones to do a live broadcast, seizing every chance they got to ride the wave of being a part of this training program.
With nearly a hundred artists taking part in the program this year, it was a rare event for the town of Sheffield. Although most of the artists were relatively unknown, they still attracted a lot of attention.
For many of these young artists, it was the first time that tens of thousands of people joined their live broadcast, eager to get a peek of what the training program was like.
In a corner of this busy conference room, Maria was sleeping with her head resting on the table.
As one of the trainers, she had to attend this first gathering no matter how reluctant she was.
But still, she sat in the corner, making herself Look as inconspicuous as possible.
Unfortunately, someone was looking for her. And that someone was Vivian.
“Maria, you're really here," she greeted in a seemingly polite manner. Being disturbed from her rest, Maria Lifted her head up irritably.
It seemed that Vivian had come with a posse of people, which consisted of Sally and a few new acquaintances of hers.
“Vivian, is this your elder sister, Maria?" a man from the group asked curiously. "Is she also here for the training?"
Vivian nodded. "Yeah... I think so." She kept her tone hesitant on purpose, in order to pave the way for the following topic.
Knowing exactly what Vivian was thinking, Sally feigned confusion and said, “But Vivian, I saw the list of trainees that was just released. I don't think Maria's name was on it. What is going on? How about we ask the organizers if there has been some mistake?"
How could there be a mistake?
It was impossible.
Sally and Vivian were very sure of this. They had already checked and confirmed that seventy-eight trainees had checked into the hotel, and that their roll numbers, dormitories, and rooms had been allocated. There was absolutely no mistake.
Maria was definitely not one of the trainees who had been selected for this program.
Then what was she doing here?
Vivian had an answer in her heart. Maria must be here to ride the wave of the training program.
Thinking of how Maria was prepared to shamelessly piggyback on this prestigious program just to break into the entertainment industry, Vivian had to suppress her Laughter.
Glancing at Sally, she shook her head and said, "I don't think so. Since Maria's name isn't on the list, maybe she came here to audit the classes."
