Chapter: 237
Maria and Judy were the only ones sitting in the last row. Maria sat there because she wanted to sleep without any disturbance, while Judy sat there to keep her friend company.
“Go find a seat close to the front and listen to the lecture carefully," Maria said with a stern face.
“What?"
Obviously, Judy didn't take the class seriously. It had been a long time since she saw Maria, so she just wanted to spend time with her.
“Hurry up. Don't waste time on me," Maria urged, in an even sharper tone this time.
The two friends had been like this since childhood.
Maria had always been serious and mature.
Judy was born to be simple and had no desire. She only followed her heart in everything.
"okay..." Seeing that Maria's serious look, Judy stood up and reluctantly walked towards the front of the conference room. She found an empty seat in the middle row, but couldn't help looking back at Maria from time to time.
When Maria caught Judy looking at her, she rolled her eyes. Then, with a yawn, she rested her head down on the table again.
“Vivian, your elder sister is so lazy. I'm sure she won't learn anything from this training program, let alone develop a good relationship with the trainers. Someone without ambition can never succeed in the entertainment industry. You don't need to take her seriously," Sally whispered to Vivian, and the Latter nodded in agreement.
The training program finally commenced.
As the main organizer of the program, the president of the Sheffield Film and Television Association gave a speech on the podium before introducing the special tutors.
“Everyone, please welcome Professor Lydia Clemens with a warm round of applause. Professor Clemens will be in charge of the singing course. She is a well-known soprano of our city, and a professor at the local conservatory. She has won numerous awards..."
Lydia, the first trainer to step onto the podium, was wearing a luxurious black dress lined with fur, an exquisite bracelet on one hand and a watch from a famous brand on the other, and a pearl necklace wrapped around her neck.
Compared to the young celebrities who were sitting in the conference room, she looked more like a big star who was about to walk the red carpet.
She was dolled up from head to toe.
When Lydia walked onto the podium, there was a friendly smile on her face, but there was also an unmistakable arrogance in her eyes.
Lydia was someone who paid great detail to everything that was going on in the entertainment industry, and believed that it was good to be acquainted with everyone. She could accurately call out every trainee's name, even though many of them were just newcomers.
When she saw Vivian, she nodded at her in greeting.
