Chapter: 406
“Updates! Updates! Mia's Female Military Counsellor has finally been updated!"
“Oh my! I'm crying! I'm going to tell my roommate that the Female Military Counsellor finally has new chapters. I'm sure he'll be thrilled as I am now!"
“This calls for a celebration! At long last, the previous chapters now have a continuation!"
"I'm stopping everything that I'm doing! Mia's new chapters are the only priority! These would be great, I just know it!"
An hour later, Maria walked out of the study feeling satisfied. She entered the Living room to ask Anthony what he wanted for dinner.
To her surprise, she noticed an opened pack of biscuits lying on the tea table.
Her gaze flitted between Anthony and his bodyguard, Jack, who was standing aside.
"He ate the biscuits," Anthony said a little too hastily, pointing at Jack.
Jack was obviously stunned, but he soon nodded and said, "Yes, it was me."
These words earned him a look of approval from his boss, and possibly even a pay raise.
Maria was speechless.
She had to be blind not to see the crumbs of biscuits on the corner of Anthony's lips, but she pretended not to notice.
“I'm going to make dinner."
Maria was an experienced cook, and rather quick with her hands.
Less than twenty minutes later, a variety of dishes were laid out on the dining table.
Maria took a plate that was smaller than usual and put it in front of Anthony.
“You'd better eat Less at dinner tonight," she said pointedly.
Anthony was confused, but didn't say anything.
In fact, Maria knew that Anthony didn't have much room in his stomach left for dinner after gorging on all those biscuits.
At the dinner table, Anthony kept his eyes glued to his phone.
