"I can't believe she's even snoring!" Maria, who was sound asleep, purred in contentment.

“How can she sleep like this?" Darian muttered. "She could've chosen a different place to rest. This is inappropriate!”

“Maria can sleep wherever she pleases," Anthony responded.

Darian was rendered speechless. Was Anthony protecting her?

The old man wasn't deterred and mumbled bitterly, "This is a public place. I understand your desire to protect your fiancee, but this is improper social etiquette.”

Anthony nodded politely and said, “You're right. If I was the owner of Jadforest Garden, no one could tell my fiancee where she can and can't sleep, am I right?"

“Mr. Patterson, please feel free to check the change of equity, but please don't say anything more about where my fiancee can and can't sleep.”
