Chapter: 600
“What? But you don't have to."
Vivian's request came as a surprise to Lorraine.
However, Vivian was so quick that she had already reached the desk before Lorraine could decline.
“Well, if you insist."
Since there wasn't anything private on the desk, she kept quiet. Lorraine didn't want to argue with Vivian, so she just let her be.
The game had come to an end.
While Vivian stayed in Lorraine's bedroom, the others all dispersed. Anthony and Maria returned to the room prepared for them.
When Maria closed the door, Anthony asked, “Your standard for an ideal spouse is quite unique. Why do you want him to be proficient in computer technology in particular?”
Maria hesitated for a while.
She hated lying, but she couldn't bear to reveal the truth as it was shocking.
Finally, she said succinctly, "There is a ‘lock' that can only be unlocked when two persons activate it at the same moment."
The “lock" was the most advanced degree of firewall Maria had ever encountered.
The double-trigger mechanism eliminated the prospect of a single hacker penetrating the firewall.
Such a mechanism could never be breached by a single hacker, regardless of how skilled they were at hacking.
As a result, Maria required someone who shared her computer knowledge and had achieved a high degree of tacit understanding with her through repeated training. She also had to have complete faith in that individual. She may then offer him to unlock the "lock" with her.
This was also why Maria had been in Heaven up until now.
She was trying to find such a person
"So, you have quite advanced computer abilities." With a grin, Anthony concluded.
"Yes," Maria replied.
Both of them seemed very honest, but they still kept some secrets from each other that they didn't want to talk about.
It was quite strange.
Maria felt Like Anthony was suddenly acting strangely as if he already knew something.
What?
Did that mean he already knew?
