Chapter: 632
“Yes, I understand."

As Vivian nodded, she suddenly thought of another thing.

“Dad, how much time do you think Grandpa still have?"

“The old man? Who knows?" Bill snorted, letting out a wicked smile on his face. "Maybe a few months, I guess.”

“Really?! Just a few months?" Vivian blurted out.

Her eyes Lit up as if this was such a piece of good news.

But on the surface, she still somehow managed to pretend to be a Little sad.

“Well, Grandpa is really old now, and his health is getting worse..."

Meanwhile, in the Smith family’s house, Julie had finally returned to her room.

After all that happened today, she still had mixed feelings.

She felt depressed and lonely. But fortunately, Maria was by her side, which brought her a Little comfort.

"Maria, your grandfather's condition is getting worse and worse every passing day. I'm really worried that..."

Julie couldn't even finish her sentence. The rest of her words were too cruel to be heard.

She looked at Maria, obviously miserable. The latter was as cold as usual, but there was a hint of concern in her eyes.

Just seeing this made Julie somehow relieved.

"The Smith family may not have found the best doctor for Grandpa," Maria uttered calmly.

“What?”

Julie was quite taken aback, but she gradually understood what Maria was talking about.

She then shook her head and said in response, "Well, one's life is kind of like a flame in a kerosene Lamp. Once the oil was used up, the flame will be extinguished. It's fate... We can't do anything about that."

But Maria didn't seem to agree. She said, "If the oil is about to be used up, why not add more? We're not really talking about rejuvenating Grandpa, but I think it's actually possible to make him live at least for a few more years."

“Wait... What are you... What are you implying?”

Julie couldn't help holding Maria's hands. She was trembling in hope and excitement.

“Do you perhaps... Do you know a doctor... That can help your Grandpa?"

"I don't know such a doctor," Maria said.
