Maria was stunned for a few seconds as she raised her head and stared at Anthony's calm face.

Was she just overthinking things all this time? With a slight smile, Anthony averted his gaze and mumbled under his breath, "But of course, it depends on whom I am with."

Eventually, they walked out of the underground parking lot and stood at the entrance of the pedestrian street.

All kinds of new shops, restaurants, and other stores could be seen. The place was so lively, and even just taking a walk might be fun. "Let's go," Maria whispered expressionlessly

“Wait. I need to remind you of something first."

With slightly furrowed brows, Maria turned to Anthony and asked, "What is it this time?"

“You are still my fiancee even if no one recognizes us." Maria's face froze. She was rendered speechless.

Upon regaining her senses after a few seconds, Maria looked at the couples coming and going on the street. They were either holding hands, or the guy's arm was wrapped around the girl's waist.

Of course, there were also some couples who seemed a little shy. The girl would just gently pull the corner of the guy's clothes while they walked together.

As Anthony reminded Maria of their status, she fully understood what he meant.

Letting out a deep breath, Maria chose to grab the corner of Anthony's clothes. This was the most she could do.

Anthony was obviously disappointed, but he couldn't blame Maria.

He just let out a sigh before they walked down the street.

From the Looks of it, it was evident that Anthony seldom went shopping for fun. It kind of surprised Maria.

Apart from the fixed shops in the pedestrian street, he also took interest in mobile stalls and temporary entertainment facilities.

“Why is this merry-go-round so small?" Anthony questioned, pointing at the merry-go-round.

Maria explained, “Well... Because it has been made for kids." Anthony's face was creased with a frown.

“As far as I am aware, the merry-go-round is not a kid's thing. It is related to topics such as girls, love, romance, and so on."
