Chapter: 646
With that, he gritted his teeth and forced a smile as he said, “Congratulations, miss! You're the champion!"

“Really?” Maria asked as she gave the vendor a bewildered Look. "I shot the same number of balloons as he did. Why am I the champion?"

“Well, you see..." The vendor trailed off. He didn't expect that Maria would question him Like this.

Fortunately, people Like him had a knack for making up excuses, so he immediately replied, “You happened to shoot faster than that man. His shooting speed is a little slower than yours, so congratulations, miss! You are the champion!"

Maria's eyes lit up upon hearing that. She even turned around and looked at Anthony as she exclaimed, “Look! I won!"

Anthony nodded. "I know. You're awesome."

“Hell yeah!" She cheerily exclaimed. However, she didn't intend to ask the vendor for the prize at all.

After Maria turned around and left, she went on to look for another game.

Of course, Anthony wasn't interested in the huge teddy bear either, so he simply put down his toy gun, gave the vendor an appreciative Look, and chased after Maria.

“Is Luck on my side now? I can't believe they don't want the prize!" the vendor murmured. Nonetheless, he was glad that happened.

“That couple is quite good at shooting! Who else wants to have a try?" He enthusiastically exclaimed as he Looked at the passers-by-trying to encourage them to play the game.

Meanwhile, there was an arcade with dazzling lights and lively music of different games a few meters away from the stall.

Maria wanted to go in and have fun, but she was too shy to tell Anthony about it.

She pursed her Lips and waited for Anthony to speak first, but he didn't seem Like he was interested in the arcade.

After some time, Maria lowered her voice and said, “I'm good at other games except for Wasteland."

Anthony immediately understood what she meant. He wanted to Laugh, but he knew he couldn't.

“Can you show me?" He gave her an expectant Look.

A huge smile appeared on Maria's face as soon as she heard him say that.

“Of course!"

With that, she rushed over to the front desk of the arcade, paid for the game coins, and quickly walked back to where Anthony was standing.

“Tell me, what do you want to see me play?" She asked. Although she wanted to give Anthony some options, she kept glancing at the dancing machine.

Anthony wasn't blind. He could clearly see that she was interested in trying out the game.

"I want to see you dance. Is that okay?" he asked with a smile. Maria's eyes lit up. "Okay!"

She couldn't help but think that Anthony knew her so well today, and she was grateful for that.
