She started to say in a low voice, "If someone bullies me..."

Anthony finished her sentence. "Then I'll teach him a lesson.”

The man declared this without the slightest hesitation. He even sounded high spirited!

With her back to him, Maria had to stifle her laughter.

Maria told herself that she shouldn't laugh right now, lest she ruin the mood.

But she couldn't help but ask, “What if I‘m the bully?"

Anthony still spoke without hesitation.

“Then whoever you're bullying deserves it. I'll support you.”

Maria couldn't stand it anymore!

She knew she was smiling, and she had no way to stop herself.
