Maria looked at Jeremy in confusion after watching the promotion video of the show Island Survival.

She was seated in the office of the CEO of Yeez Entertainment.

It had been long since she Last saw Jeremy, so she thought he had called for her for something rather serious.

“Isn't it obvious? Are you interested in it?" Jeremy asked excitedly.

“I'm not!" Maria answered plainly.

She knew that Island Survival was not a show produced by Yeez Entertainment, but Jeremy was one of the major investors of the show.

The show was held by the biggest livestream platform in the country, and could be broadcasted live for 24 hours until the challenge was over.

“Please, just think about it," Jeremy pleaded with Maria, his smile now gone.

"This show was meant for you. It might even be very easy for you. Will you please just consider it first? I promise not to do any publicity and expose you as Mia. You will participate just like any regular player who applied and passed the audition,” he added convincingly.

Maria looked at him with exasperation and said, “Come on, don't tell me you've run out of stars in Yeez Entertainment. This kind of show could also be very important for building their image, right? Don't waste this opportunity on me. You know I don't want to be a star, and I definitely don't want to be in the spot Light."

Maria looked at Jeremy so intensely that he started stammering, “Well... You see... Actually..."

Maria's insides melted when she heard this.

Judy was such a sweet girl.

Just like Judy, Maria came from the countryside and had never stepped foot abroad before.

That was why Judy thought that Island Survival simply meant living on an Atlantic island for 3@ days.

This was her chance to travel abroad and she wanted to use it. However, she didn't want to go through this experience without Maria, for she was her best friend.

“If you don't go, Judy won't go either. The livestream platform has already been promoting this season and part of the List of contestants has been made public. The list with Judy's name on it! You can't imagine the humiliation I'm going to face if Judy suddenly quit the game."

Maria looked at Jeremy and sighed. He knew his way around words and knew how to get what he wanted.

“Fine! I'll participate and save you from the greatest humiliation ever!" she finally said dramatically.

Although Maria had promised to take part in the show, she was afraid that Anthony would worry about her, so she kept it a secret from him.
