Chapter: 682
To gain a fighting chance, Boone and Kern had probably trained somewhat in preparation for the competition.
As for the two field survival experts, a quick Google search and Vivian was able to pull up some videos they posted.
The two often shared interesting videos about survival in the wild on the Internet. They not only asked for donations, but had also sold some goods live.
"These four are all short of money. That'll make it much easier," Vivian muttered to herself, her eyes flashing dangerously.
At seven o'clock in the evening, Maria and Judy arrived at the livestream platform's headquarters.
However, they were slightly surprised to find that the other contestants had arrived early. Aside from Vivian and Sean, Maria didn't know anyone else.
Everyone was wearing the same set of outdoor jackets, camouflage pants, and mountain boots that the crew had prepared for them in advance. They each also carried a backpack filled to the brim.
All the contestants were present. Maria found it curious that the two university professors and the two survival experts seemed completely disinterested in the hotties in front of them.
Instead, they were huddled together, discussing their experiences surviving in the wild.
Obviously, these people were here to win and only viewed the glamorous stars as burdens.
Even the two male stars, Sean and Louis, were excluded by the experts.
“Humph!
Vivian cast a cold glance at Maria and didn't bother to greet her. Sean, on the other hand, walked up to Maria and Judy with great enthusiasm.
“Hello, Miss Jenkins, Miss Bruce!"
When they participated the program held in the Hillside Spa Hotel, Maria had been Sean's teacher. The young man still treated her with respect.
Maria nodded in greeting.
“Hi, Sean. Long time no see."
Sean then looked over his shoulder and waved at one of the star players. "Come here, Louis. Let me introduce you to these ladies." Louis had already seen the Maria and Judy when they arrived.
But he remained cold and unapproachable.
“No, thanks," Louis said flatly.
Sure enough, Louis coldly shook his head and turned his back to them.
“That's strange. I just introduced Vivian to Louis. He seemed quite enthusiastic," Sean said, scratching his head in confusion.
“No, it isn't strange." Maria sneered.
“Vivian is kind of famous now, but Louis just started his career, so he's willing to be friends with Vivian. Judy isn't famous enough, and as for me, I'm not even a star. It's only normal to assume that he doesn't want to waste his time on us.
