Chapter: 687
One after the other, nine of them stood in front of the machine and quickly did the health index scanning process.
As they did this, the host explained, “This equipment will record your current condition, and the data will be adjusted to a hundred percent. If more that one team finishes the challenge, they will go through the test again to determine the team with the highest health index. In the past, when two groups of contestants completed the challenge till the end, that was how the winning group was determined. After passing through the health index, one of them had 74.2% while the other group had 69.9%. That should tell you who won."
When everyone had gone through the machine, the host took out a drawing box and said, “We have come to the most exciting moment... We're going to divide the contestants into groups. Keep watching to see how our experts, scholars, stars and volunteer will be divided."
Vivian squinted and waited impatiently. She wanted to be in the same group with two survival experts.
If that wasn't possible, then with at least a survival expert and a scholar. She would still have chances of winning.
Her fear right now was being in the same group as Maria and Judy. If they were her teammates, there would be no need going for the game because she knew they were going to Lose.
But... If Maria was lucky enough to be in the same group with survival experts or scholars, Vivian still wouldn't be scared.
Vivian had already made up her mind, and no matter what, she was going to make sure Maria lost.
Vivian had already expected this. Maria got Lucky again.
“Now, our first team will be Maria, Emilio, and Boone."
The emcee took a look at the note and went to Maria with a smile on his face.
“Maria, do you feel lucky now? You've been teamed up with a scholar and a survival expert."
The emcee's tone was quite ambiguous. It was almost as if he was implying that Maria was destined to be a burden to the team.
“Lucky?" Maria asked with an expressionless look. "I don't think so." That truly was what she thought. She hoped to be teamed up with Judy if possible, along with an obedient teammate Like Sean. She did not doubt that he would follow all her recommendations.
However, she offended Boone and Emilio upon saying that. Both of them immediately thought that she would eventually be grateful to them when she couldn't find any food to eat on the island.
The draw went on, and the second team was soon announced. It included Sean, Judy, and Louis.
Vivian's eyes lit up upon hearing that. She couldn’t help but feel Like she was so Lucky.
There was no need to draw now. The remaining three, which were her, Kern, and Simon, were the third team.
“I'L definitely win this!" Vivian screamed inside her head.
After that, the nine contestants left the headquarters and headed for the airport. Each of them took their backpack and a simple live streaming device with them.
The show would begin right after the contestants would land on the island. Of course, all three of the teams were to be dropped at different Locations.
In that way, it would be impossible for them to meet or see each other until the end of the competition.
Shortly after the plane set off, the live stream platform started a competition. They made the audience guess which team would win and what would be the end result.
“Who will be the best player of this season?"
