Chapter: 693
Maria didn't do anything. She just took a walk nearby.
“Gosh. Isn't that too excessive? Maria can't possibly build a shelter alone."
“Surviving in the wild is just like that. If that were me, I would do the same thing.”
“Aren't they supposed to work as a team? Why can't we see any sign of cooperation in this team?"
After Maria took a walk, she went back to the place where they just had lunch.
At that point, Boone and Emilio had collected more than ten pieces of wood-each as thick as a human wrist.
After all, it was their first day on the island. Since they were in the best condition, they worked efficiently.
The two men glanced at Maria for a moment before proceeding to ignore her.
Even though what they were about to build was a very simple log cabin, dozens of thick wood were still not enough.
They were quite tired already, so they didn't want to waste their energy cutting wood for Maria.
“Let's get started."
Maria, on the other hand, squatted and took a shovel from her backpack. The shovel was made of high-quality materials and had a sharp edge. It was almost like an axe when swung.
After she took the shovel, she walked straight toward a tree.
The tree was only about seven feet tall. Since its trunk was straight, its wood was suitable enough to build a shelter.
However, the trunk was as thick as an adult, muscular man's calf.
“Maria picked the wrong tree. I'm sure she'll get tired before she could take the tree down.”
“She thinks too highly of herself! Didn't she see the thickness of the trees that her teammates chose? Or does she think she's stronger than them?"
"I'm sure she'll realize her mistake soon."
The viewers in the Live streaming room obviously didn’t think highly of Maria's choice.
It would take at least thirty trees to build a proper shelter with that ~especially by how thick it was.
But would Maria really have the strength to do so? No! She couldn't possibly do that.
Maria clenched the shovel in her hands, slowly making arcs in the air with it.
She seemed to be taking a few deep breaths.
“What the heck is she doing?"
